I've to renew my driving licence very soon. Just wondering if anyone has recent experience of the time it's taking in either Nutgrove or City Centre?

I could post it in but as I don't have a chequebook and don't want to put cash into the envelope it looks like attending is my only option.

I lost mine last year and got a replacement fairly quickly by making sure all forms and photos were filled in. I did so over lunch in Blackhall Walk in town. Was no more than 20 minutes wait for a call to the counter. Bring a sambo and paper and do it over lunch and you'll be fine.

Use a PO. Aternatively there is a big motor tax office in Ballymun on the main street which is a bit of out the way, but I found quite quick.
