Tiger Woods - Disgusting!

I'd heard about the spitting incident in Dubai that he was fined for a few days ago but I had no idea that he did it on the green, where other players might be putting subsequently.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a man for whom I've lost all respect. Ewan Murray sums it up well in the commentary.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj9FVkPJxjg

In defence of field sports players, with a high level of aerobic activity (i.e. out of breath), and particularly if you have any touch of cold, your airways will need clearing... ye cannae change the laws of biology.

In a golf context your caddy might be able to hand you a hankerchief.... or you could hawk into a bush. As crimes of Tiger go though I wouldnt have thought it was in the top 20.

He was actually spitting all over the place but it was the one on the Green which did the damage

Golfer spits on ground.
People thousands of miles away shocked and disgusted.

Oh dear....:(

there are more probably more incidents of golfers/gardeners catching weils disease than there is from humans catching disease's from saliva/spit/sputum.
Maybe he should have held it back till he got to the rough area/quite spot etc think it might be blown a little bit out of proportion casue of who he is, and what has happen to him over last year

I agree with you about waiting till he was away from the green or out of sight etc.

However, I don't think it was blown out of proportion because of who he is. I think it's because of who he was that he's been getting away with it for years.

There aren't that many spittoons on dem dar golfin' greens, bois and gurls.

ONQ.
