Help wanted - OCR of PDF document

Any ideas as to how I could convert this scanned PDF document to text format?

quick answer - unless you purchase software to convert such as adobe or pdf writer you wont be able to convert

Thanks for the suggestion, but just for the benefit of others, I don't think this will help me on this occasion. This converts a text from a PDF into Word, but doesn't convert text in image format within a pdf.

An OCR programme is what you need. If you have a scanner you probably have one that came with that. Haven't checked to see if you can pick one up free on the web. You may be able to get a trial version of one which may suffice for a one -off job.
