My youngest is having her birthday party this weekend and has requested a spongebob cake. She's not a demanding child and I know she'd be as happy with the chocolate cake we make every year for everyones birthdays, however I'd buy a spongebob cake if there was one around.
Local bakers are €40 whch they can sing for, but if there was one in a Tesco or Dunnes I'd buy it.
Anyone seen any around ?

I have seen them in Dunnes, Superquinn and Tesco, but my experience of buying cakes is that stock of different types can vary a lot every week so dont wait until the last minute.

Also, Superquinn will put a photo or picture on a cake for you. The smallest one is 15 quid + 3 for the photo. Give them a few days notice.

i definitely seen the Spongebob one in Dunnes and Superquinn. My little one wanted one but I convinced her that Peppa Pig is nicer :p

Well done on the homemade cake making! Can you make the usual chocolate cake and then print from internet a colour pic of spongebob, cut out his face and then stick to the icing on top of the cake. She sees spongebob and is delighted and you can take the pictures of Spongebob cake and blowing out the candle and then whip off the paper cut out face and tuck into the cake.....
