Hi, got email today from Ryanair announcing "Sensational September Special Flights" to Europe for 3 EUROS. I have searched every day in Sept for any 3 Euro flt to any European Destination to no avail. In fact I have been watching for flights on daily basis and flights are going UP in price at regular intervals. Has anybody out there got a flight for 3 EUROS?

Just checked now... and they are showing 3 euro flights on Knock to Liverpool (Sept 1st and return 4th) and Cork to Dublin

Yeah, I booked yesterday Derry to Birmingham for £3 all in for my parents, maybe they aren't doing the fare to mainland europe. Anyway, unless you leave booking til the last couple of weeks, you can normally get a reasonably cheap flight to your destination. Seems long gone are the days of the 0.01 pence/cent flights though!! Not suprising really though.
Am I in the minority as a happy Ryanair customer?!

Just booked two short stays ....... one from 10 -12th and the other from 27 - 30th. Both in Britain. These prices disappear as soon as quota is offloaded. Sorry to hear of your dilemma - could you not borrow the other €4? :)

We don't want to go to Britain so I didnt even look in GB. Usually when RA or AL say "Europe" it is mainland Europe. Did anyone get flt to mainland Europe? I searched yesterday morning country after country for SEPT I didnt find one 3E or anything near 3E. We are retired and very flexible on dates etc.

Those €0.01 flights are usually only available at very unseasonal times like late Jan/Feb, but they're there if you look out for them. Last year I got seven return flights from Shannon to Beauvais for 14c + €124 taxes - just under €18 per round trip. A return bus ticket from Limerick to Cork costs €22.

I was checking the Ryanair price of flights to Italy recently at about 8 a.m. They were priced at €11.99. By the time I got my credit card out to make the booking the price had risen to €12.99.
I also flew with Aer Lingus recently. I had forgotten the joys of being able to choose your own seat before you flew. Another simple thing that was so convenient was having the little pocket holder on the back of the seat in front of me where I could leave my book, spectacles and bottle of water. These small conveniences sadly lacking in the "used to be, low cost airline" and now the "on certain routes, such as Rodez, low cost airline".

Ml O Leary must look at AAM. I have just looked at Ryanair.ie and it just says 3 Euro Flights. the word "Europe" has disappeared. I have checked email it says "Sensational Sept flts to Europe". This also appeared on the www yesterday. For the record I have no objection to paying a fair price. Why do fares go up and down. One day no taxes but basic fare goes up. Next day taxes back on but fare goes down so you end up paying same.

It's still there on their "news".

Ryanair celebrated its new Seville base, two new aircraft, 29 routes and 1.5m passengers p.a. by releasing 500,000 €3 seats for travel across its European network for travel in September and October which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com from midnight tonight until midnight Monday (26th July).
