Thinking of trading my Audi A3 2007 1.6 petrol FSI for a 2007 1.8 petrol Mazda MX-5. Anybody have the fuel consumption number for that 1.8 engine in a mix of town & motorway driving ?

Its pretty average, much the same as standard 1.8 engine in other cars, from my experience.

No but I can tell you that the MX5 is a fantastic car to drive.

All of them I would think; they've changed very little about how they handle over the years.

My question is about a Mark 3, and I did google but got some conflicting info.

I have a Mk 3 and with very little city driving and mostly driving on motorways I average 30 MPG at legal speed limits.
