Hi folks!
I have a 05 Ford Focus petrol with just over 100k on clock, i'm getting conflicking reports on when to do the timing belt. Some are saying it should be done at 100k others 110k.Any ideas? Also anyone know how much it costs?

Tanx.

I was always led to believe that it was 60k miles/100k kms as well, best to ring a ford dealer, as far as i know they are not cheap... but worse if you don't get it done and it goes:eek:

100'000 miles or 8 years timing belt should be changed, don't know how much it will cost sorry.
i don't think its that big of a job TBH:)

100,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first.
Costs around 300 - 350 euro including water pump which they normally change as well (maybe more in a main dealer)

60,000 miles but should really be changed once you pass the 55,000 mark. 100,000 miles seems a bit much but every car is different.

I recently got it done on an Avensis, it's get done at intervals of 60,000 miles and csot all in 490!

For the Focus it's 100,000 miles. I just got mine done at 96,000. Cost about E500
