Question for other accountants in practice

Can anyone recommend accounts/book keeping software for retail and pharmacy clients that doesn't cost an arm and leg, has a stock module, can link in with the EPOS cash register which also has the basic functions i.e. bank rec, supplier ledger, debtors ledger etc and can export reports to excel?

You're asking how long is a piece of string !!! It all depends on the size of your operation. Have a look at www.sage.ie or www.quickbooks.co.uk or www.sortmybooks.ie or www.bigredbook.com . As the saying goes research, research, research. Also talk to any colleagues in the biz.

Tas books 3 (with stock option) I would recommend. Others like Sage. Big Red Books is not as good as Tas Books or Sage. Don't know anything about sort my books.
