I recently started work for a company based in Northern Ireland but who have projects in the south although no office in south. I am still living in the south. They are paying me in euro from their euro account and both me and employer are paying tax to Irish revenue. They have now been advised that this is a mistake and I must register in the north and pay tax in the north. Is this true or can we carry on paying tax only in the south?
