Work and Illness benefit

Is there contact between payroll and the dept of illness benefit? I think I have made a mistake with my certs, in that my final cert was late going off and I think that I may have been overpaid by a week, can't get through to dept today!

No there's no contact between payroll and illness benefit - unless your benefit was being paid directly to your employer.

No it was been paid to me directly,work only paid me a portion for a while, I was out for five months in total, and the first week I went back for a few hours as I did'nt know if I'd be fully up to it really. Sure I'll hear from them I suppose with any queries, final cert gone in now anyway.
