Wine appreciation/wine tasting courses

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend wine appreciation/wine tasting courses in Ireland for my dad's 60th birthday which is coming up in the next few months.
He's in Waterford, so would like to know of any in the south-east, but I'm open to booking him one elsewhere (and possibly an overnight stay to go with it then).

He's never done one before, so I was thinking of an introductory one.

Budget would be 250-300 euro.

Or if there are any other ideas out there for the man who has everything I'd appreciate other suggestions!

IME the more upmarket offies tend to have info on this - or may even run one themselves as was the case with my local a few years ago.
 
Check the Wine board of Ireland . I did one of theirs and it was brilliant. [broken link removed]
