Hi everyone. Just wondering if someone could explain this to me in simple terms. Europe and Ireland both euro but different returns in the same fund??. Or am I missing something obvious. Thanks on advance for any advice.

'Europe' relates to the performance of a basket of European equities (German, French, Spanish, Ireland etc).

'Ireland' relates to the performance of a basket of Irish equities only.

The following link will allow you to see the performance of the Dynamic fund year-to-date (YTD) etc.:

The fund is down -16.26%.

The above that you are querying just seems to be a weekly investment newsletter talking generally about the performance of various global markets (Europe, Japan etc) and asset classes (corporate bonds etc).

To answer your original question - why is 'Europe' and 'Ireland' showing different returns since they are both in the euro?

Ah yes, I understand now. Thanks for your help .
