My wife and I want to bring our nephew to the panto. He's aged 4. Which one should we go to?

Went to "Cinderella" in the Gaiety last Friday and I have to say it was two and a quater hours of pure enjoyment.

The sets/costumes/production were second to none!!
The dancing and singing were superb.
The kids were "involved" from the start.
The adults also enjoyed the quips from "Baron Bertie Hardup"

All in all a show that would put many Broadway and West End productions to shame.

Maybe hard to get tickets though.

We went to Aladdin in the Olympia!
Thought Susan McFadden was very good but the rest of it was just alrite!
Kids got bored in places and the 12year old said it was "crap"!
I have seen better amatuer productions down the country!

Why not support a local dramatic / variety group? The 4 yr old will probably enjoy it just as much (and if he doesn't and wants to leave, you won't feel as if you've wasted a lot of money on tickets). If it's in your own locality, there'll usually be a lot of "in-jokes" for the adults to enjoy!

For a great show go and see Joseph and the Amazing technicolour dreamcoat. It's on in the Olympia in February

Many thanks to all of you for your replies. The problem now is finding a day that suits everyone, and before the panto season finishes!
