Where to Invest Money

Hi

I am new to this forum and would like some advice on where to invest a lump sum of money that I have received.

I have €60000.00 that I want to put away into either a deposit account or a post office bonds as these seem to be safest options that I can see. I am not really interesting in buying shares or anything like that.

If anybody could advise me I would be most grateful.
