When will Budget 2014 amendments take effect?

I know that traditionally there are different dates for different provisions -- some budget measures take effect immediately, others kick in on the first day of the following year or later. DIRT increases have normally taken effect from the 1st January following, but with the early budget this year is that likely to change? (I have a lot of deposits paying interest in November).

It will still be the 1st of January for most things. Excise duty on fuel, tobacco and alcohol will take effect from midnight as per normal.

Yeah, the effective date, of any DIRT changes, and PRSI changes, should be 1 January 2014.
