What happens to SART when I resign as director

I will shortly be resigning from a company of which I am a director. I set up a SART some years ago and was thinking of getting the company to pay any outstanding monies into this SART. As I will no longer be a director I was wondering what should happen next.

You could transfer it to your new employer if you will be in a new employment?

If you are over 50 you could transfer it to an ARF if your SART allows for early retirement from age 50?

Whoever set-up the SART and administers it for you should normally be giving guidance in relation to this.

Thanks for that South.

I most likely will be going to work overseas for a while.

I am 51 so I will check out if the ARF option is allowed.

Its your SART...so if it's not allowed then get a Deed of Amendment to make it allowed!!

Thanks South, will revert to administrators to review best options.
