Weekly Spend on Shopping

We must be eating too much....2 adults, 2 toddlers we spend an average of 200 per week. Sometimes more - yikes. One kid in nappies...

I remember that in 1990 it it used to cost my parents IR£120 to do the weekly shop for two adults and two kids (not in nappies!) ...so I think you are doing okay CKC ...dont worry!!

My bill comes to anything from 140 to 180 per week. THats for 2 adults, 2 kids (both in nappies,one on formula!) I go to Tesco for their bargain,lidl and also local shops for milk & local bakery for bread.
This excludes the odd lunch out so probably spending too much! buy a lot of organic produce which is more expensive but worth it in my view.
On the weeks that I have to get nappies or dishwasher or cleaning products its the higher amount. I find since back to work after maternity leave that I spend more as don't always cook the meals i used to when off (cararoles,roasts) and go for the faster and often more expensive foods. Love fish which has gotten very expensive.
