Hi, just to let you all know that there has been a date change for anyone paying off their Hungarian mortgage under the Hungarian Govt's repayment plan.
The original deal was that mortgage holders had 2 months, from the 30th Dec 2011, to pay their mortgage in full to avail of the plan.
This date has now been brought forward to the end of Jan.
My bank never told me about this but have since confirmed that it is the case. If you are availing of this repayment plan, I would advise you to contact you bank to clarify the exact date you need to pay them.
