The following 3 plans are equivalent to Teachers Plan, with no inpatient excess.
Both plans PMI 38 14 and Company Plan Extra Level 1 have very good day to day cover with a 1 euro excess. Refund of 75% for gp visits,
75% or 130euro for consultants visits, etc. These plans are similarly priced but with better cover.
One Plan Extra has similar hospital cover but is cheaper than Teachers Plan.

The following plan VHI PMI 07 10 @ price 1240pa has a capped inpatient excess of 150 x 1 max per year for all private/hi-tech admissions per year.
Day case excess 50 per procedure. Good day to day benefits, refund of 50% for gp visits, consultants, dental, physio etc.

For the 3 plans with better day to day benefits, there is a 6 month waiting for people aged 50+ before this cover applies. There is no waiting for
hospital cover as it is similar as before. Day to day cover under Teachers Plan would apply for the first 6 months while waiting.
I don't know your renewal date, so there may be price changes for January 2020. Any price changes will be posted on the Health Insurance Authority
from December 2019.
