If my wife was temporary laid off work recently, what years prsi contrabutions would she be accessed on.

I looked at this link, but i find it impossible to understand. why do they have to make things so confusing for people. will have to just accept my possibilities and pot luck.

A claim made now would be based on her 2005 contributions

Just apply and let SW figure it out. If she qualifies then she'll get something. If not then she can try for non PRSI linked/means tested Jobseekers Allowance.
