have you been offered a house im waiting on a call cork council must be starting to give out houses this time how long were you waiting if you dont mind me asking?
To be honest i've been on the list for years, then was it was "inactive" last yr due to a career break but they said when i reapplied in June that i wouldnt lose my place. Never heard much from them over the years but they seem to be starting to give places away now alright.

Thanks for the info i applied in april but they told me there were houses in my area that i was looking at but didnt hear much since do you think it is quicker these days?
Well, im not entirely sure how they work it -i guess it depends on where you're looking but in general i would think that nowadays theyre in a position where supply is greater than demand alright.
We went to view the houses there. They are on the small side. And all mid terrace at this stage i believe. Not great for a family so we didnt pursue any further.
