Probably going off topic but I was living in England when Princess Di was killed and the attitude to the Royal Family and in particular the Queen is very different then to what it is right now. Back then the Queen was being vilified and now people are queuing overnight to view the coffin.
Also, is it a little weird to say I'm enjoying the pomp and cermonies, the maintenance of history (even if some of it is a bit bizarre). Also I was quite impressed by Penny Mordaunt over the weekend at whatever cermony was there on Saturday
