Hi,
Had a joint mortgage with partner (cohabiting not married) both FTB since 2003 with ICS. Moved house / remortgaged in 2005.
Before the remortage TRS was credited monthly to our joint account (would show up as CT TRS xxxxxx).
Since the move, we have not had this credit monthly, so we have to claim proir years.Should we both have to fill in one of these forms to claim to full amount? It appears that way. ie we are both entitled to it. (both names on the mortgage). Can one partner claim the full amount or how does it work with joint mortgage?
I think my partner has back claimed using my PPS no without my consent into a bank account I wasn't aware of in joint names. I would have had to authorize and sign for mine but never did?
If that's the case whats the best method of approach. (would this be tax fraud / theft, etc) The partner has since left and wants to sell. I've just being going through the paperwork....
