Hello,
I've been renting out my apartment for a few months and need to get things straight with revenue so I can lodge a tax return in Oct 2016. One thing I need to do is cancel TRS for mortgage interest relief now.
I'm looking for any advice on how to cancel TRS while not endangering my tracker mortgage (i.e. bank may look to shunt me to an investment rate for renting). Can anyone advise me on this?
I read online I can fill in a TRS4 form and send to revenue, though I've also received advice to cancel it directly with the bank...
Any advice would be great,
