Thermosat only working at 30 degrees

I turned on the heat for the first time in months. Only problem is that the thermosat for the upstair rads which is in my bedroom only clicks on at 30 degrees- it will not click on anywhere less then that. This is obviously too hot plus means it is alot more expensive to run- it is a dimplex one anyone know how to fix it that it comes on around 18 degrees?

There may be dust in the thermostat, you might try using the vacuum cleaner around it to remove any build up over the summer, it is also posible that the room or wall is still very warm from our recent hot spell.
