There is a new online scam offering €500 in TESCO vouchers to participants in a survey.
It claims TESCO are considering opening a new center [sic] in Dublin and asks 4 inane questions. After getting 4 responses it asks to identify a UK supermarket with a green logo (ASDA). This takes you to a screen that asks for your mobile number and at the bottom it says "€7.50 per month draw entry fee" plus "€2.50 per text".
It is run by Mad Prizes* and on retracing my steps there are disclaimers all the way through saying the "survey" is not affiliated with the retailer or product manufacturer named. This leads me to believe there are other similar scams knocking around.
I have no idea how I got to this particular "scam-petition" as I take the usual precautions browser-wise. It's been a while since I saw a new scam-petition.
