Tesco CC introductory rate

Has anyone encountered Tesco Finance offering 0% for 9 months, as is claimed in the latest

Web site says 6 months, for as long as I can remember, yet IFSRA can tell me this by way of explanation when queried.

I have been in contact with Tesco Personal Finance who explained that at the time the cost survey was being prepared an introductory offer of 0% for 9 months on balance transfers and purchases was available. (The final page of our survey notes that the information was correct at 14 August 2006.) However, since 18 September 2006 this period has been changed to 6 months as advertised on the Tesco website.
