Tax on small extra income

Hello all,
I'm thinking of doing 'mystery shopping' jobs. They pay very low wages. We're talking €5-10 per job. And about one or two per week.

Is this income subject to tax? (I have a full time job as well.)

The US tax authorities allow ppl to earn small amounts, c600 per year, without paying tax on that income.

Thanks

yes it is taxable and it is also your obligation to declare the additional income and depending on what you are earning in your other job you could pay up to 52% on the extra income.

I'm a total stickler for paying my income tax, but for the hassle of declaring an extra informal tenner a week I would absolutely not bother. Life's too short for that level of scrupulousness.

But maybe it's easier to provide the details at the end of the tax year in a Form 11 return?
