I can't seem to see this answered in key posts, and search doesn't seem to be working.
I sold some share options recently. I believe tax on proceeds is paid at 41% - is that right? Also which revenue form do I complete for this?

Thanks.

Tax at 41% is due on the exercise of a share option, on the difference between the option price and the market value. Use Form RTSO1.

If you sell immediately, no further tax is due. However, if you wait for a while before selling the shares, cgt may be payable.
