I used my company bonus of 5000 euro to buy shares in the company i work for 4 years ago. They matured after 3 years and I sold them yesterday making a 5000 euro profit.
correct me if I'm wrong but
1 I'm allowed keep 2700 euro profit tax free
2. i'm allowed offset previous losses on shares ( in my case zero euro).
3 I'm allowed offset against any new shares I bought this year ( I bought another 5000 euro worth of shares this year).

This means I'm not liable to capital gains tax - yes or no?

I'm fairly sure on points 1 and 2 but not on point 3.
thanks in advance

Losses realised from prior years can be carried forward - True

Tax free capital gain is €1270, not €2700.

Shares bought this year have nothing to do with the sale of shares this year.

So I think you'll be taxed on €3730
