I was recently gifted a house from my father who obtained same through property deal with developer. Father paid CGT on the property and there is no mortgage attached to the house.
I am contemplating renting out the house. I have never lived in the property and wonder what tax or other liabilities would I be liable to pay if it is rented.
I don't own any other property and currently live in rented accommodation in another county.
