I'm sure this has been covered a number of times but I find it hard to find on the forums! My wife and I are due our first child in May, we are currently jointly assessed for tax.
Her maternity cover is week with just 6 weeks at 50% pay and then straight onto the social benefit. What is the best thing to do about tax and how should I approach it. Can I claim her tax credits? Is there a method for getting this set up?
