Hi all,
im looking for advice on behalf of my dad. He has just retired from the post office having served 40 years and he is looking to trace a rercord of whatever stamps he paid prior to starting work there in 1967 so he can put them towards some benifit or something, im not too sure of the details. But he is finding it difficult to track down this info. Can anybody help and/or give advice about where to get tis information? I have his pps number if this will help anyone
Thanks you

ps: sorry if this is in the wrong thread

Has he already contacted SW about this? They should be able to check their records.

If he worked for a private employer your dad can drop a line (do not phone) to the PRSI Records Section, Gandon House, Amiens St. Dublin 1.

Quote Name, Address, and PPS No. and request records of all PRSI paid by him. Simple! but it can take up to 10 weeks for a reply.

If he is coming up to 66 send a copy of that record to the Pension office in Sligo with his completed pension Application Form.
Good Luck!

N
