Sinead made her choice and her name will indeed live forever.

She was an incredibly talented singer and musician with an amazing voice but her life was beset by tragedy and it was deeply unfair and damaging to her that her mental health struggles played out in such a public way.

I'll remember her for the music she made.

It's also worth remembering that her children have lost their brother and their mother in the last few months. Comments about her in the media should be cognisant of that.
