Setting up a company

I’m looking into setting up a video/film production company.

We’ve registered as a LTD company. What we’re wondering is how to set up in terms of money. What’s available to a company starting up that isn’t making money straight away. Is it a case of biting the bullet and scraping by till you do make some ?

Or are there loans/grants available from banks ? Enterprise Ireland ?


For us we are gonna have to do some marketing and really just pick up the phone to companies, weddings etc to get the work, so we’re not gonna make money straight away.

Have you read the key posts and checked www.basis.ie? Maybe try your local county enterprise board as well. Do you have a business plan?
