Selling UK Shares Paper Certs

I have about €12k worth of shares held in paper cert form, sterling denominated. The UK share registrar will not sell for me as I am resident here.
What is the quickest and easiest way for me to sell them through an Irish broker?

But you may need to open an account with them first.
