Hi all,
My partner is thinking of purchasing a retirement home with her mother for her to move into. Her mother will be selling her own house to finance this but will fall short. My question (s)
- how does the section 268 relief work, especially where no rent is being received on the property?
- is if they co-buy the property can my partner write off the tax incentives against her PAYE?
- as we are getting married shortly could we write off the tax incentives against both of our PAYE?
I tried looking on the net but couldn't find much basic info - Any help would be appreciated,
