Any Renault Zoe owners out there. I am thinking of buying a 2nd. hand Zoe. Looking for an indication of range between between the 40kwh and 52kwh batteries as well as overall verdict of Zoe. How does it compare with the Nissan Leaf?

My son's partner has a 2021 Zoe. Loves it. I was a passenger in it recently and I was impressed with the sturdiness of the seats. Don't have any info on the range but they're thinking of buying a second one, i.e. they'll have two of them!(I know!).

The "real range" section on https://ev-database.org is quite reliable and divides it up into motorway vs city and cold vs warm weather which are very relevant to EVs.

As with any EV, you should only buy one if the range is suitable for your usecase and you can charge 95% of the time at home or work. With the Zoe in particular, watch out that Renault offered the option to 'rent' the battery until about 2019, so you need to factor that into the price!
