Hi,

I am doing a bit of work , IT consultancy, and I am registering for tax. I am currently renting accommodation as a private dwelling. If I register this address for tax purposes will it be an issue

Thanks

What sort of issue Jerry? If it's you principal private residence and you're registering as self-employed then that's going to be your tax address for Income Tax, unless you have a separate office. Whether you own it or not wouldn't bother Revenue. You'd be still claiming the private rented tax credit as your residence.

Thanks for the quick reply

The only thing I can think is from the landlords point of view?
