I wonder if anyone could recommend a doctor in South Kildare (Athy/ Monasterevin/Kildare Town/Newbridge). I'm very unhappy with my own gp who is (among other things) quite lazy - even to the point of not telling you what is wrong with you as writing out a prescription, or ringing for results of tests etc. I need a doc who is proactive and interested, one who actually listens to you and bothered enough to try find a solutions. I have found that a lot of docs are not taking on new patients around the area. We've had our suspicions confirmed by other healthcare workers about our own doctor on more than one occaision and feel at this stage that he is putting my family's health at risk.
