Re-Mortgage Expenses

hello all,

Just a quick query.I moved the mortgage on an investment property recently to gain a rate advantage and in doing so incurred some legal expenses relating to searches and land registry fees in the process. Are these allowable as a deduction in my tax return for the property - being an expense of ownership - (kinda ! )
