Query re entitlement to social welfare pension by Class D contributor

I've just availed of a local authority voluntary redundancy scheme after 39 years however, taking job sharing into account, I've only 20.5 years actual service.
My service was from 1975 to 1982 permanent, paying Class D; temporary from 1983 to 1985 paying Class A; and permanent job sharing again from 1986 to 2013. I would also have had a number of weeks seasonal employment which was probably at Class A in 1973 and 1974.

My question is, are the couple of years where I paid Class A stamps of any benefit to me in securing a partial stage old age pension?

Also my husband is self employed, and as I do the admin work on that side, for a number of years he has paid me a nominal salary and paid a stamp also on my behalf, though it's not a Class A stamp.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
