I'm trying to take out contents insurance for my apartment but all the insurers have something like the following in their conditions:

Are all external doors to the apartment fitted with mortised deadlocks and all windows fitted with window locks?

All windows on the ground floor and other windows that are easily accessible must be fitted with key-operated window locks

All my windows have a button that you press to release the handle that's used to release the locks so I guess FBD would be happy but QDI would not?

The most relevent point will be the floor that your apartment is on and how accesible your windows are.
