Pointers to Contracts & Negotiations in a Sales environment

I work in a very large organisation and a role has come up with the Legal Team, in Contracts & Negotiations. The the main task is to ensure that the company is not exposed to onerous liabilities or claims as a result of either breach of contract or contracts having been constructed in a less than optimal manner.

I have an interview later this week and was hoping to get some pointers from the AAM community as to where I could read up in relation to contract law - particularly in a sales environment. The objective here is get a basic understanding of key points, nothing too technical as there are counsel in situe already.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.
