Just curious...but is there an agreement in place for declaration of an individuals account details - where they have accounts overseas - to the tax authority of the country in which they are domiciled in?
some countries, such as IOM, CI will notify Irish Revenue of your account. Are you worried about something?
There is no prohibition on having foreign bank accounts, but you should notify Irish Revenue of the existence of account and details of any interest earned.
