Hi,
One of my tenants is leaving a few months into a fixed term contract. The other two tenants are staying, so he has offered to find a replacement for himself. This is all fine with me, as he has been an excellent tenant. However, how do I process this? Do I have to get the two old tenants and the one new one to sign a new contract for the remainder of the fixed tenancy, or do I just get the new tenant to sign the existing contract, next to where the tenant who is leaving has signed? Basically, I need to have something from that new tenant in writing saying that they agree to stay until the end of the fixed term, but I am not sure what that something should be!
