First of all, apologies if this has been covered before - the search function won't allow a search for "NCT" as it is too short a word.
I am just wondering if anyone has heard of a DIY headbulb alignment test?
Something along the lines of shining the main headlights at a wall 6 feet away and measuring the bottom of the beam circles with a ruler or spirit level?
I have the NCT on Saturday and it is now too late to pay someone to do this test. (Anyway, as the equipment in the garages is different to that in the NCT test centres, there appears to be no guarantee that a "pre-NCT" test will actually lead to an NCT pass. It seems to be cheaper to just sit the NCT and if you fail something, just get the problem fixed!)
