I bought an affordable house off Fingal co co last year. I signed up for the fixed rate for five years included in this rate is a percentage rate of .0587% for mortage protection which is only affective in case of death.
I bought house with my girlfriend we received our yearly statement and for the mortage when broken down we are paying over 100euro a month for this protection it cancels out our TRF totally and our mortgage seems quite high at 1050.00 for a mortgage of 185,000.00 over 25 years.
Mymain question is, is there any way I can cancel my Mortgage protection with them a get a cheaper one else where or will I have to wait till year five to do this?
