With our kids all in school and with more time on her hands, my wife is planning on setting up a Montessori school in the near future. We are currently in the process of applying for planning permission for a building. We're confident this will be achieved pretty soon and we're now focussed on getting our final finances in place.
My query relates to the manner in which we finance both the construction and operation of the business. Would it be more efficient to set up a new company and use the company for this purpose? We're expecting total construction costs to be in the region of 20k and if there were efficiencies attached to setting up a company we'd obviously like to be able to take advantage.
I suppose I'm really directing this query to somebody who might have made a similar decision previously. If there's somewhere that we could obtain this type of information I'd also be very grateful if somebody could direct me.
