Management Companies & Solicitors

Hi all,

I'm currently trying my hardest to close out a sale for a house.

However, my solicitor has queried the management company in charge of the development and requested more information.

The vendors solicitor are finding it very difficult to track down any details at all.

I am desperate to close this out ASAP. Is there anything I can do to help, has anyone ever had a problem like this before and if so how did you get the information?

You could try to track down the information yourself, find out who the treasurer/secretary of the company is, or the accountants and try to get the information.

This is becoming a common problem, it is a matter for the vendor to sort out, not the purchaser, but if you are in a hurry, you could try, albeit that you have no real right to get access to these documents in the same way that the current owner does.
